Fancam Partners With Charlotte FC and Ally for Second Consecutive Season

The fan-engagement experience returns to give individuals the opportunity to locate themselves at Charlotte FC home games through an interactive Gigapixel image

Minneapolis, MN – Fancam, the world leader in 360˚ gigapixel photography, announced that they’ll be partnering with Charlotte FC and Ally during the club’s 2023 season. This season is the second time Fancam is partnering with the team and comes shortly after a successful launch during the team’s inaugural season last year.

The first Fancam of the season, presented by Ally, was captured during the team’s season-opener match against New England on February 25th. Charlotte FC fans will be able to zoom, locate and tag themselves at all home games they attend during the 2023 season. They’ll also have an option to capture a ‘Digital Postcard’, which can then be shared directly to their social channels for their digital network to see and showcase their experience.

“We were excited to be a part of the fan experience during Charlotte FC’s inaugural season, and look forward to continuing this unique activation for them this season,” said Tinus Le Roux, Founder and CEO of Fancam. “Incorporating Fancam into the match day experience is a fantastic opportunity for not only MLS clubs, but their partners as well, to engage with their fans at an unparalleled level.”

“Fancam was extremely well received by our fans during our first season and a memorable way for them to keep a snapshot of their matchday experience,” said Joe LaBue, President of Charlotte FC. “In partnership with Ally, we’re thrilled to enhance the activation in 2023 as it’s an incredibly immersive experience, and it builds community as a shared candid moment each time CLTFC plays at home.”
